Aim & Objectives of the Organization (OPEN)

We believe on “Don't let them climb the tree  but teach them how to climb the tree” so education is the main priority of  OPEN and we are working for the education and awareness among the people in the rural area providing them education and vocational training. OPEN has already conducts different educational programs to make people aware about the various social, ecological, educational and health factor which help to eradicate the social problems.

Aim & Objectives

The major objective of  OPEN is to provide education to the unprivileged children and help them to build up their bright future. Since agriculture is the main source of income generation and living base of the rural Nepalese, so one of the OPEN’s ambitions is to provide the agricultural training and run different agricultural programs targeting to the prospective farmers.

To get into the goal of aim and objective of the organization OPEN will always encourage the people to wisely use locally available resources, which help to develop the economy of the local people and make them sustainable.

Primary Goals

Child Education: As we know today’s children are the future of Nation and if they are not well educated, the country never can stand alone on the first row of development, thus our primary target is child education, specially from the hill regions and remote areas who really needs support for their education.

We mean to raise awareness among the unprivileged people both from rural and urban areas through out formal and informal education as well as vocational trainings.

Preservation of Environment: Environmental preservation is another ambition of OPEN. Decades back, hills of Nepal were covered by green forest and there was a saying “Green forest is wealth of Nepal” but now most of the hill are being necked due to the deforestation and landslide became a big problem. Not only landslide but also there is many problems that people are facing caused by deforestation. Being a true evidence of this factor, OPEN have planned to conduct small though effective Programmes for the environmental preservation.

Agriculture: Nepali people are nature lovers and most of them depend on agriculture which has deep relation with nature and environment. Though more than 85% of people in Nepal are directly based of agriculture and farming the country can’t sustain itself on the agricultural products. The traditional way of agriculture is the main reason for low production. OPEN aims to help farmers letting them about modern way of agriculture such as use of proper fertilizer, seed and etc.

Health and Population: The population, which is near about 25 millions, is enough for this tiny country but the rapid growth of population is being a great concern in Nepal. OPEN aims to give proper knowledge and awareness about family planning among the peoples. At the same time OPEN is intend to create healthy environment making people aware about several health related issues.

Use of Local Resources: Ignorance or failure to use locally available resource by the people of Nepal is directly responsible for slow rate of development. The organization will always encourage the people to wisely use locally available resources, which help to develop their living standard whilst making them sustainable.
